Discounted or introductory rates on arts programs could be an added benefit for your staff and a great way to support local arts organizations. Consider an “Arts Spotlight” each month that includes an onsite art experience for staff or special rates for attending off site opportunities. The connections you’re making in the arts community would likely appreciate the exposure and the chance to broaden their pool of participants and attendees. In addition, a staff member who has personally experienced a program (whether it’s a writing class, a theater production, or a musical performance) is going to be able to share firsthand enthusiasm with guests and others, not to mention the good will this creates with your staff through this added workplace benefit. A win win for everyone!
