Josh Baca is part of the band Los Texmaniacs (Conjunto/Tejano). David Farias is part of Las Fenix (Norteño Genre). David Lee Garza's musical genre is also Tejano. 27th Annual Accordion Kings & Queens (June 3rd 2016). Since 1991, Texas Folklife’s Accordion Kings and Queens has showcased the amazing musical diversity of Texas accordion styles, featuring legends of conjunto, polka, country western, zydeco, Cajun and more.  Accordion Kings & Queens draws a capacity crowd of six thousand to Houston's Miller Outdoor Theatre.  The event celebrates the cultural diversity of Texas by bringing communities together for an evening of dancing and roots music played on the accordion, "the national instrument of Texas".
